After thirteen years for the Italian Foreign Service in Rome (including 3 years as vice consul in Frankfurt AM), she worked extensively for the Italian Ministry (and Minister) of Labour and Social Affairs, as Head of several Units and Departments and Chief of Cabinet.
She developed her competences and expertise on human and civil rights, social inclusion and non-discrimination policies and strategies at national, UE and international level, and was a component of official delegations at the bilateral and multi-lateral level, specifically dealing with the issues of minors, migrants,people with disabilities and women. She was also component of Official Commissions and Committees both at national and UE on the abovementioned issues.
In 2010 she left the Central Government to work for Municipalities of Parma and, from 2014, Milan.
She was recently Head of Department within the Milan City Hall’s Welfare Division. At this time she organized Milan’s participation in the European Access City Award, won in 2016.
In 2016 she started a new experience as Head of the City of Milan’s Tourism Department, working specifically on international promotion (China, USA, Canada UE Countries), defining new strategies to increase attractiveness for visitors, students and talents and focusing her attention on the cultural offer and experience as a pillar of the tourism policy of the city.
Since January 2019 she is Head of the Performing Arts department within the City of Milan’s Culture Division.
