Alessia is a member of the experts' network Stadtnachacht which focuses on urban development and nightlife, and a prospective PhD student with a research project on night mayors and their challenges for the local development. She has been researching on the urban governance of night-time economy and has released an article in Bollettino della Società Geografica Italiana on the role of Zurich night ambassadors in night-time conflict management. Her ten-year experience as a policy-maker has drummed an interest in policy-making processes and strategic planning.
